Volunteer with our Youth Drop-In

We are currently looking for new volunteers to join our team and support our Youth Drop-In, which runs every Thursday from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at the Winlaton Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a project that provides a safe and positive space for young people aged 11 to 16 to connect, learn and grow.

By welcoming new volunteers, we can begin expanding what we offer to the community and give our current team more capacity to continue delivering high-quality sessions. Whether you have experience in youth work or simply a passion for helping young people, your time and commitment can make a real difference.

All roles are voluntary and fully supported by our team. If you are interested in getting involved or would like to find out more about volunteering with GYI, please get in touch. Together, we can continue building opportunities for young people across Winlaton and Gateshead.
