Halloween at GYI

Our Halloween session was truly something special. It gave children the chance to experience the fun and excitement of Halloween in a safe and welcoming space. From rock decorating to a lively disco, the evening was filled with creativity, laughter and plenty of energy. Seeing the smiles, costumes and teamwork reminded us just how much joy these events can bring.

At GYI, we believe that themed nights like this are important. You never know when one event might give a young person an experience they may not otherwise have. Providing these opportunities helps build confidence, connection and belonging, which are at the heart of everything we do.

The session was a perfect way to finish before our short Halloween break. It allowed our volunteers to end the term on a high and take some well-deserved time to rest and spend with their families and friends. We will be returning on 7 November, refreshed and ready for more great sessions with our young people.
